Ed Henze

San Diego, Calif.-Edward Allen Henze, 38 of San Diego, California formerly of Albion, Iowa died Thursday, May 13, 1999, at the Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego.

Memorial services were held in San Diego on Monday, May 17, by close friends. Another memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m Saturday, May 29 at the Vineyard Christian Church, 214 W. main Street in Marshalltown.

He was a 1979 graduate of Marshalltown High School, attended the Dallas Institute of Arts and the Colorado Institute of Arts in Denver.


He was a free lance artist who had worked for Jim Henson Productions on the Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles II movie and the Disney television series Dinosaurs.

He had lived in Dallas, Denver, New York, Los Angeles, Wilmington, N.C. and San Diego.

Survivors include his parents, John and Pat Henze of Albion; a brother Craig (Tedra) of Albion; four sisters, Julie Henze of West Des Moines, Stacie (Mrs. Bryan) Burr of Glencoe, Minn, Liecia Pearson of Luverne, Minn, and Patty Pearson of Lincoln Neb; and grandmother, Annabelle Henze of State Center.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ralph Henze, and grandparents, Newell and Mary Catlin.
